Coffee Bean Intl - PANACHE ‘Fair Trade coffees help farming families by paying a guaranteed fair, above market price for their harvest, thus providing them with a decent, living wage. This is accomplished by avoiding middlemen and dealing directly with farmers and their cooperatives. Also, Certified by TransFair USA, an independent non-profit int’l agency that monitors and certifies Fair Trade products in the United States.
Certified Organic
Coffee Bean Intl was the first specialty coffee roaster in North America to offer certified organic coffees, helping to create the category, and supporting organic growing communities by paying above market rates for over 20 years. Certified organic coffee is grown without synthetic pesticides or other prohibited substances, it also supports sustainable crop rotation, and is mainly shade grown, producing delicious, pure coffees.
